tomorrowwworld 2014 lineup

TomorrowWorld has released its initial lineup for the second edition of the Georgia-based festival taking place from September 27th to 28th. Hype has been building for months since pre-sale tickets went on sale, and ID&T has, once again, rewarded their fans with a stacked 2014 lineup. Although it’s still a young festival, TomorrowWorld has emerged as one of America’s top festivals both because of the caliber of artists they book and the unrivaled level of production. This year, TomorrowWorld looks to add to their reputation with a stacked phase 1 lineup.

TomorrowWorld’s 2014 headliners include main stage stalwarts Avicii, David Guetta, Kaskade, and Tiesto. Fans of big room and/or festival main stage house will have Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, and Martin Garrix to bounce to, while Diplo, Skrillex, and Bassnectar will bring the darker, deeper bass beats. Fellow headliners Richie Hawtin, Steve Aoki, and Zedd round out the headlining acts.
Trance enthusiasts have every reason to anticipate TomorrowWorld as well. Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Arnej, Brian Kearney, Ferry Corsten, Jordan Suckley, John Digweed, Orjan Nilsen, and Simon Patterson are all penciled in for sets. Few artists have built the portfolios that this group has, and Kearney, Suckley, and Patterson have some of the hardest hitting psytrance beats in the world. For those who haven’t experienced them, make sure to give their sets a shot and witness the fury for yourself.

q-dance

Like last year, Q-Dance will be sponsoring their elaborate hardstyle stage. As they have a reputation for their unrivaled production, stopping at the Q-Dance stage is worth it for the visuals along. Although hardstyle is underrepresented in the initial lineup, the inclusion of Coone indicates that hardstyle will be well represented at the fest itself. Other curated stages that will be hosting TomorrowWorld include All Gone Pete Tong, Dim Mak, Full On, and OWSLA, among others.
As this is only Phase 1, more artists are expected to be announced. If this initial lineup is any indication of things to come, fans should be salivating for whats to come.

There are a host of camping options to choose from; the most basic option is tent camping, which is, well, camping in tents. If you will be traveling with a group, make sure to sign up for Friendship Camping so you can guarantee to camp together. For those who don’t want to bother bringing camping supplies, there are three options: Easy Tents, which are special TomorrowWorld tents for either two or four people containing an air mattress, sleeping bag/s and a night-light (all of which you can take home with you); Dream Lodges, which are canvas tents with wooden floors for two or four people, containing a full-sized bed, locker, chairs, a table and electricity; and TomorrowWorld Manors, which are essentially luxury suites for up to 12 people (sleeping arrangements are on a tour bus – with A/C) and come with champagne upon arrival, private shower and bathroom, a lounge area, fully stocked bar/fridge, and a jacuzzi. Hot damn. If you’re going to camp (and won’t be springing for a manor) make sure to snag your BoozeBag for discounted prices on TomorrowWorld currency (needed to purchase food or beverages).

 tomorrowworld 2014 initial lineup

TomorrowLand, the original festival based out of Belgium, has been argued as one of the best festivals in the world. Last year, TomorrowWorld descended on America for the first time as an extension of the original festival. What transpired that weekend was nothing short of magical, as thousands upon thousands of fans traveled to see an incredible cast perform. This year, expect the production level to equal that of its festival predecessors. TomorrowWorld has become can’t-miss festival for American and international fans alike; don’t miss out on this years installment.

Electric Shepherdess was born out of my frustration with nightlife options and a constant desire to dance. After a few years of adoration from afar, I partnered with my long-time friends, MASS EDMC, to spread our message far and wide. When I'm not tending to my flock, I'm writing, dancing, editing, managing, reading or curating. I believe in fancy hats and enjoy glitter, disco and lazers, often for days.
