The Enchanted Forest Unveils Heavy, Bass-Fueled Lineup For 2016
April 20th, 2016MASS EDMC STAFF
One of the West Coast’s most outstanding electronic music festivals, Enchanted Forest Gathering, has dropped the lineup for their 2016 edition. The gathering will be returning for it’s sixth installment this July 22nd to 24th to it’s new home at the historic and fabled Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, CA. Over the past five years, Enchanted Forest has emerged as one of the most anticipated events of the year for lovers of bass music, flow-art enthusiasts, yogis, and the entire consciousness community.
Enchanted Forest brings together the best of music, yoga, flow-arts, education and healthy-living to cultivate a perfect storm of creativity and expression that is both fun and productive. There are workshops and seminars offered in many areas of alternative learning including spirituality & science, sexuality & relationships, and permaculture & ancestral arts. You can master your flow-art skills in the flowzone, or find solace in the Nectar Temple, the home to a variety of healers skilled in massage therapy, somatic healing, and chiropractics.
The recently released lineup is Enchanted Forest’s largest and most impressive to date; it exemplifies the festival’s principles and community mantra. This year’s headliners are Shpongle, known for his eclectic, psychedelic sounds, and The Polish Ambassador, who is not only a talented and beloved producer, but also an outspoken ambassador for the consciousness movement. Other noteworthy, bass-filled performances will be put on by PANTyRAID, Minnesota, Autograf and CloZee, while the rest of the lineup is packed with talented, up and coming acts that will be sure to expand attendees’ musical horizons.
The Black Oak Ranch is a fantastic venue for this festival and the perfect location to hold an event called the Enchanted Forest. However, the grounds only have a capacity of around 3,000 attendees. While this is an important factor in retaining the desired intimacy and atmosphere, it means that there is an extremely limited number of tickets available. GA passes started at $168 for early-bird but are rapidly flying through the tier prices and will continue to rise until they sell out. If this gathering seems like the experience you have been searching for, take that into consideration before you miss your chance.
