Without a doubt, house music is coming back to the spotlight. There has been a growing fascination with “future” house and G-house, thanks to artists like Disclosure, Tchami, and and labels like Dirtybird Records and All Gone Pete Tong are developing strong followings, spawning an abnormally high demand for groovy house beats. Those who once spent their time at the main stage are starting to visit other stages, and exposing themselves to other forms of house. Come September, Tensnake heads off on a US tour to give the people exactly what they want: house music.
Tensnake’s 2015 fall tour will bring house music to 11 different cities, including 4 stops here on the East Coast. Marco Niemerski, the German DJ’s birth name, has been DJing since 2006 and, coincidentally, specializes in what modern house trends are following. Although he primarly plays in modern house, he won’t shy away from throwing in a disco track to keep the audience on their toes. Not only is Niemerski a solid producer of original tracks, like “Coma Cat” and “The Walk,” but when he spins live, he slays it. His set at Nocturnal Wonderland this year proves it.

Matt Reynolds is a music enthusiast on a mission to share his musical knowledge with the masses. Born and raised on the hard streets of suburban North Jersey, Matt was diagnosed with an irreversible addiction to electronic music in 2009. Since then, he’s pledged to discover and share his experiences with clubs, festivals, and the world of electronic music. Situated minutes from NYC, Matt has traveled from Massachusetts to Miami and everywhere between chasing music and making memories. When he isn’t writing for MASS EDMC, he’s either reading, writing fiction, or (most likely) booty-shaking on the dance floor.
