Porter Robinson: Circle Assembly Tour 2013

Porter Robinson is somewhat of a demi-god (who makes awesomely hilarious faces) as his B2B tour with Zedd earlier this year proved. This February, he'll be doing a mini-tour with a stop at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC on 2/9. Tickets for the NYC stop go on sale Friday, December 14th at 12pm EST. Just Blaze and Baauer: Big League Tour 2013

Looks like everyone's going to be touring this winter! Most recently announced is the Big League tour featuring Baauer and Just Blaze, which just so happens to collide with their recent collaboration. This is exciting because of two reasons - Baauer is amazing and because all you Boston folk now have plans for Valentine's Day (and it's not even 2013 yet). Tickets for the Boston date[...] Read more >>

MEGA New England: Kill the Noise, Figure, Designer Drugs and more

Every now and then, a show is announced with such a crazy good lineup that I get really really excited. Steez Promo's MEGA New England is one of these shows. The killer line up includes Kill the Noise, Figure, Designer Drugs, AK1200, Soappy and Slop. Best known for their stellar events in Baltimore and DC (Starscape anyone?), Steez Promo has a pretty solid reputation for throwing super[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #45

Can I just say, EDM is growing with snowball speed and it doesn't look like there's any chance of stopping. This fall has been decision after decision after decision about who to spend money on, what show to wait for, and who to go to on what night. And you know what? It's not going to get any easier. Just check out the new tours and shows added to calendar. But honestly, I'm not[...] Read more >>

Break Science and Michal Menert: Twilight Frequency Tour 2012

Initially there were no northeast dates scheduled for Break Science and Michal Menert's fall tour, 'Twilight Frequency', but some dates have finally been announced for the end of November and the beginning of December! Sadly no Boston stop was included, but at least there's a NYC show. If you've ever been to a show by anyone on PLM, you know that it is going to be a good time; if you[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #39

There are SO MANY THINGS coming! I have no idea how on earth I'll be able to choose between them, let alone pay for them. As always, make sure to like the facebook page or follow on twitter for more updates, events, news, music and more. To Note: Info[...] Read more >>

This week's updates are pretty awesome. Not only did some stellar artists get added to great bills, but there's also a lot to look forward to (JAMES BLAKE in December YUP) and some pretty cool sounding tours. Weekly Forecast (9/26 to 10/2)

Listen, I don't want to talk about Counterpoint, okay? Yes, it's going to be AWESOME and yes, everyone should be going but not all of us were lucky enough to have solid stable plans that worked out OKAY? Okay, cool (I swear I'm not super bitter or anything). But really, there's plenty of awesomeness happening around here so there's no need to fret. Check out this week's awesome events[...] Read more >>

Mount Kimbie Fall Tour 2012

Mount Kimbie is going on tour (with Squarepusher no less) and it is going to be pretty great. There are only a few stops stateside, and luckily, two on the East Coast. Since the Squarepusher tickets are already on sale, so are the Mount Kimbie tickets, but this just gives you even more of a reason to snag one ASAP.   10/31 (Wed): Royale, Boston, MA (with Squarepusher) Doors[...] Read more >>

Swedish House Mafia: One Last Tour 2012

Awwwww shit! After dropping hint after hint after hint, the full announcement from Swedish House Mafia about their One Last Tour is finally here! And for all those who missed out on their NYC show last year,  you're in luck - they're coming back and this time there are two dates AND two different venues (if Sensation America goes well at the Barclay Event Center, that might be the[...] Read more >>

Weekly Forecast (9/13 to 9/18)

I dropped the ball - I'm posting this a day late. Hopefully humpday was humptacular though, I spent my evening shopping at Ikea which was actually far more fun than I should be admitting. Good news though - there's something going on erryday this week (even Monday, say whattttt!). Strap on your high-tops/neon Reeboks/impractical sandals and don your favorite lax pinny/neon fishnet[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #35

And finally, this week's Weekly Additions. The list is quite extensive, even if I say so myself. And yes, I did it today in part because I won't be able to post the Weekly Forecast until way later thanks to an Ikea stop tonight (hey, a girls gotta shop for furniture) but hopefully this week's announcements will be enough to satiate your hungry selves for a few hours. I mean, check out[...] Read more >>

HARD NYC 2012: Wolfgang Gartner, Proxy, Popeska & More

Guess what? Right on schedule, HARD has announced their fall NYC stop and it looks DOPE. This year, Wolfgang Gartner, Proxy, Popeska and more TBA will be hitting Terminal 5 with as much awesome beats as they possibly can. Added bonus? It's 18+! Prior to the stop in March, generally the HARD events were all ages which essentially equaled a giant, sweaty, wet mess[...] Read more >>

Borgore: Bakery Fall Tour 2012

Personally, I don't listen to a lot of Borgore, however he seems to have a somewhat fantatic following so I'm definitely considering attending his show in Boston next month. Either way, there are a few options to see him this fall and you know it's gonna be cray (yup, I said it). I mean, all tours that have a trailer tend to be pretty epic,[...] Read more >>
