Can I just say, EDM is growing with snowball speed and it doesn't look like there's any chance of stopping. This fall has been decision after decision after decision about who to spend money on, what show to wait for, and who to go to on what night. And you know what? It's not going to get any easier. Night Owls Tour 2012: Flinch, AC Slater & Harvard Bass

Oh hell yes, AC Slater, Flinch and Harvard Bassare going on tour together and it's looking pretty sweet. Any of the three would be worth seeing alone, so any stop on this 'Night Owl' tour is bound to be a high energy night of womptastic proportions. Best part - BOSTON STOP! For all you NYC dwellers, don't worry, I predict a NYC show on 11/29 - make sure to check back for[...] Read more >>

TNGHT Tour: Fall 2012

TNGHT, aka Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, have  been creating a quiet but ever-growning buzz for a few months now since their appearance at SXSW earlier this year. The duo dropped an EP this summer which was far too short (let's be honest) and mixed for Diplo's BBC Radio 1 show. In other words, TNGHT is definitely a twosome to watch. Mohawke (remember his epic essential mix from 2009?)[...] Read more >>

Break Science and Michal Menert: Twilight Frequency Tour 2012

Initially there were no northeast dates scheduled for Break Science and Michal Menert's fall tour, 'Twilight Frequency', but some dates have finally been announced for the end of November and the beginning of December! Sadly no Boston stop was included, but at least there's a NYC show. If you've ever been to a show by anyone on PLM, you know that it is going to be a good time; if you[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #39

There are SO MANY THINGS coming! I have no idea how on earth I'll be able to choose between them, let alone pay for them. Hopefully you won't have the same late-night panic attacks I do, trying to figure out just how many acts I can smoosh into one night. As always, make sure to like the facebook page or follow on twitter for more updates, events, news, music and more. To Note: Info[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #37

This week's updates are pretty awesome. Not only did some stellar artists get added to great bills, but there's also a lot to look forward to (JAMES BLAKE in December YUP) and some pretty cool sounding tours. As always make sure to like the facebook page or follow on twitter for more totally tubular content (really though, follow me on twitter, I'm a rabid drunk tweeter yo). To Note:[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #35

And finally, this week's Weekly Additions. The list is quite extensive, even if I say so myself. And yes, I did it today in part because I won't be able to post the Weekly Forecast until way later thanks to an Ikea stop tonight (hey, a girls gotta shop for furniture) but hopefully this week's announcements will be enough to satiate your hungry selves for a few hours. I mean, check out[...] Read more >>

Borgore: Bakery Fall Tour 2012

Personally, I don't listen to a lot of Borgore, however he seems to have a somewhat fantatic following so I'm definitely considering attending his show in Boston next month. Either way, there are a few options to see him this fall and you know it's gonna be cray (yup, I said it). I mean, all tours that have a trailer tend to be pretty epic,[...] Read more >>

Spankalicious: Do Magical Things Tour 2012

Spankalicious is a great blend of glitch hop, future bass, trap, live drumming - I could go on and on. Basically, he is extremely talented and you should go see him. Check out the full tour here and listen to some of his music below. 9/19 (Wed): Wonder Bar, Allston, MA Doors 10pm; 21+; $5 cover (more information here) 9/20 (Thurs): The Stone Church, Newmarket, NH Doors 9:15pm;[...] Read more >>

Weekly Additions #33

Not surprisingly, this week is yet another week of solid fall announcements. The sheer number of fall tours announced alone would mean that this fall will be stacked, but combine that with the epic number of solo dates announced and you have a crazy, jam-packed few months. In other words, stop mourning summer - the fall is going to be EPIC. As always make sure to like the facebook[...] Read more >>

Mimosa Fall Tour 2012

Fresh off the Boston stop of Made in America, Mimosa announced his fall tour schedule and it is HUGE. None of the tickets are available yet (RSVP to get the latest updates) but the sheer number of dates is impressive. Looks like he's going to have his plate full. Check out the full tour schedule here. 9/27 to 9/29: Counterpoint Music Festival, Atlanta, GA Find out more about[...] Read more >>

Zion I and Minnesota: Shadowboxing Tour 2012

Zion I and Minnesota are teaming up this fall for a seriously fantastical tour. Stopping all over the US (see full schedule here) this tour is gonna be great. Minnesota blew my mind at Camp Bisco, as well as melted the faces of everyone in the dance tent. Aka, this tour is definitely worth attending.   11/8 (Thurs): Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn, NY Doors 8pm; 21+; tickets $10 to[...] Read more >>

Timeflies: The One Night Tour 2012

Timeflies are coming this fall and they're stopping all over the place (mainly college campuses, you lucky scholars you). This will definitely be a great way to start out your fall semester, so start ralling your friends now. They are a great blend of electro, hip hop, and pop and are native Bostonians (bonus points!). Check out the full tour here.   9/14 (Fri): Bates[...] Read more >>

Sleigh Bells & AraabMuzik Fall Tour 2012

Unfortunately, the only two stops Sleigh Bells and AraabMuzik will be making that are remotely close to me (which is clearly the epicenter of the north east) are both in New York (one is bascially CT but still) however since both these two have some SERIOUS talent. Don't believe me? Take a listen to the tracks below, especially the video of AraabMuzik. That dude has so much talent it[...] Read more >>
