Slander Gives A Breath Of Fresh Air On Current Tour
March 17th, 2016MASS EDMC STAFF
Los Angeles trap duo Slander has been playing shows and festivals around the globe since January. The Breathe Tour, now at its halfway point, will continue until April 16, wrapping up the total of 22 stops. Slander’s unique sound encapsulates the emotional side of electronic music, through trance-like chord progressions over dirty trap beats. The duo, comprised of Derek Anderson and Scott Land, categorize the genre as “heaven trap.”
Slander most recently released their single “Breathe,” after which the tour is aptly named, and it’s a picture-perfect example of their “heaven trap” sound. For more intensity, check out their track “Dead” or their popular remix with NGHTMRE of GTA’s “Red Lips.”
Fellow trap producer NGHTMRE will be providing support on various dates throughout the tour. NGHTMRE, born Tyler Marenyi, has firmly established himself as a driving force in the EDM scene, becoming known for his one of kind combination of hard-hitting trap and dub sounds.
