Since being founded by Steve Angello in 2003, Size Records have become one of the most prolific record labels in the dance music industry. The label has released hundreds of tracks in the past ten years, and, as of 2012, has expanded to festival level thanks to Size in the Park. Taking place in New York’s Central Park, 2013’s festival featured a two day showcase of Size’s most notable talent, including An21, Tim Mason, Third Party, and more. The sold-out shows capped off an impressive decade of prosperity for the label and its artists.
In celebration of the ten-year milestone, four of the label’s artists are hitting the road together for a commemorative tour. Comprised of An21, Max Vangeli, Third Party, and Qulinez, the ambitious tour will be taking over North America this April. Though each artist will have their own sets respectively at each stop of the tour, An21 and Max Vangeli have been frequent collaborators in the past; the pair released a joint album titled “People of the Night” in 2012 and played a special B2B set at EDC New York last year. The album and sets speak not only to their chemistry as artists, but their ability to transition into one another in a live setting. The EDC New York set in particular highlights high-energy, big-room house bangers from each artist.
Progressive house duo Third Party made their Size debut with the track “Release”, which propelled them into mainstream success in 2011. The two have continued to build buzz thanks to their plethora remixes; their take on Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ track “Otherside” found its way into the sets of producers across the globe in 2013. Their pyrotechnic and steam-filled set at Mansion Liverpool last year gives an exciting look at what you can expect from seeing them perform.
Swedish pair Qulinez is the latest addition to the Size family, signed in 2011 soon after Steve Angello received their demo. Their popular progressive house track “Troll” has been their most successful release yet, featuring a melodic buildup and dirty Dutch-influenced drop. The two also host their own podcast, “Recklezz Radio”, which recently released its 21st installment. Given how quickly the two have been able to achieve mainstream success in just a few years, future releases from these two will carry serious hype.

Steve's obsession with music began when he was 16; he saw his then-favorite band, Metallica, play the TD Garden in Boston. His musical tastes have broadened since then, but he is still chasing that feeling of excitement & unity he felt at his first show. His introduction to the dance music came when friends brought him to a Bassnectar show, and he hasn't looked back since. When Steve heard MASS EDMC were looking for writers, he jumped at the chance to get more involved. Writing for MASS EDMC has given Steve a rare opportunity to combine two of his passions: writing & live music.
