This Memorial Day weekend, Lightning in a Bottle Festival returns to Bradley, CA in an attempt to recreate the magic of previous years. Lightning In A Bottle is a festival like no-other: it is as much a music festival as it is a four-day conference on sustainability. A Burning Man-esque gathering of some of the best and brightest in the scene who want to educate and promote good health and environmental responsibility, LIB is organized around its three main aspects: the Experience, the Ethos, and the Music. All three synthesize to cultivate the energy and vibes that make Lightning In A Bottle what it is.

The experience at LIB is intended to be a completely immersive experience for festival goers, starting from the minute they set foot on the majestic grounds to the minute they leave. Festival organizers, The Do Lab, offer a wide variety of extracurriculars beyond the music to engage the crowd and promote “The Ethos”. Many art installations, yoga sessions, green workshops plus a curated lineup of visionaries, wisdom keepers, teachers, healers, activists and performers are designed to “activate your body, expand your mind, and open your heart”.

Then there is the music itself. The minds behind the festival do not necessarily target the biggest names in the business, instead they are searching for the right ones, artists that they hand pick to contribute to the energy and atmosphere of Lightning in a Bottle. In years past fans have been treated to iconic performances by the likes of GRiZ, Flume, and Odesza. This year they stayed true to themselves and have released a truly unique lineup. Veteran Jamie XX leads an eclectic group of talent including The Polish Ambassador, Chet Faker, Cashmere Cat and Mija. Bass fans will also be happy to see their interests represented by Mr. Carmack, Space Jesus and an infamous Minnesota B2B G Jones set.
