Gramatik Announces Epigram Tour In Anticipation Of His Long-Awaited EP

February 10th, 2016

Gramatik Tour

As he puts the finishing touches on his upcoming Epigram EP, Gramatik, born Denis Jasarevic, has announced a string of winter tour dates. The former Pretty Lights Music signee spent most of last year building hype for the new EP, which will be released on Lowtemp Music, the label Jasarevic started in 2013. So far, two singles from the project have been released, and feature the same blend of funk, bass, and hip-hop that’s defined his sound throughout his career.

The New England dates of the Epigram tour will be supported by Jai Wolf, Mark Farina, BrassTracks, and Jenaux. Jai Wolf recently released his single “Indian Summer” and will be embarking on his own headlining tour this spring. Mark Farina’s sound features a heavy jazz and funk influence that Gramatik fans should find familiar despite the fact that Farina is known primarily for his signature Chicago house. Bass duo BrassTracks recently premiered the first single off of their self-titled EP coming later this year. Jenaux is a progressive house artist that dropped a collaboration with The Chainsmokers last fall.

2/20 (SAT): Playstation Theater, NYC

2/26 (FRI): The Fillmore, Philadelphia

Steve's obsession with music began when he was 16; he saw his then-favorite band, Metallica, play the TD Garden in Boston. His musical tastes have broadened since then, but he is still chasing that feeling of excitement & unity he felt at his first show. His introduction to the dance music came when friends brought him to a Bassnectar show, and he hasn't looked back since. When Steve heard MASS EDMC were looking for writers, he jumped at the chance to get more involved. Writing for MASS EDMC has given Steve a rare opportunity to combine two of his passions: writing & live music.
