Aside from a few festival appearances over the summer, Flux Pavilion spent most of this year in the studio, hard at work on his new album Tesla. Now that the album has an official release date of September 4th, Flux has announced a string of US dates to support it. The debut single from Tesla features rapper Riff Raff and has a more hip-hop/trap feel than Flux’s previous work. According to a recent interview with Billboard Magazine, fans can expect a lot of experimentation on the new album: “I have always experimented with my sound, and I wanted to create a project that binds them together so it all makes a bit more sense to the listener.”

The East Coast portion of Flux’s Tesla Tour will be supported by fellow UK bass music artist Wilkinson. His latest single “Hopelessly Coping” was released a few months ago and a new full-length album is expected from him in early 2016.

Steve's obsession with music began when he was 16; he saw his then-favorite band, Metallica, play the TD Garden in Boston. His musical tastes have broadened since then, but he is still chasing that feeling of excitement & unity he felt at his first show. His introduction to the dance music came when friends brought him to a Bassnectar show, and he hasn't looked back since. When Steve heard MASS EDMC were looking for writers, he jumped at the chance to get more involved. Writing for MASS EDMC has given Steve a rare opportunity to combine two of his passions: writing & live music.
