Born in Tel Aviv and living in Austin, TX, The Widdler has been playing and producing music since he was 10. Renowned in the American dubstep scene since his inception, the Widdler releases such as Sensei Samurai , Froggy Style, and Lady Dub are regarded as classics in the bass genre. Supported by artists like Bassnectar, Mary Anne Hobbes, Excision, Bukez Finezt, and 6Blocc, member of US imprints Dank ‘N’ Dirty Dubz, and MalLabel Music, represented by Circle Talent Agency, and most recently signed to Owsla Records, The Widdler is widely recognized as an innovator and originator of dub sound. Constantly practicing, The Widdler incorporates mix sessions into his daily routine, which translates to his flawless performances at shows; headlining with the likes of Doctor P, Reso, Ajappai, and Tipper throughout the world. Currently spending his time between gigs in the studio, The Widdler is working hard to bring the freshest tunes to his fans, with his newest releases to drop in 2013. Taking influence from various genres of music and lifestyle, his tunes comes in all shapes and colors. From the chilled reggae dubs and blue mood atmospheres to the mean menacing throbs of bass and percussion, The Widdler knows how to weave his musical roots with his production that makes each set entirely special. 2015 was a big year for Toadface. On his first year of tour with Yheti, he performed in California, New York, Oregon, Washington, Ohio, Tennessee, Atlanta, Minnesota, Arizona, and many more. He started making dubstep in 2011 and from there evolved into a whole sound and genre of his own. With swampy bass lines and ambient mystical soundscapes, a Toadface set is a journey that all bass music fans can enjoy.
2013 is the year of the HONEYCOMB! 860/413 BEATBOXER is attacking the music scene with full force! With an after-hours jam a…t Electric Forest in the Sollun with artists from Beats Antique, Emancipator, LYNX to the Kyrian Beatbox, and a DEJA-VU performance with Liquid Stranger at this years Bellaterra, Honeycomb isn’t messing around! GZA, Spritual Rez, Total Science, Archnemisis, DJ CRAZE and Space Jesus are just a few other artists that he’s shared the stage with! Collaborations gallore! Returning to the grounds in which his career started, Bellaterra Music and Arts Festival, he set a precendent for what is to come! With the collaboration of numerous arists, Massachussetts lyricist Tone, and punk ska band Danny Pease and the Regulators, you got a face full of Honeycomb cereal and earfull of bass and beatbox! In the last year, he has been popping up across many stages and house parties in New England, with his love for all styles of music he reactivates the dying artform that is beatboxing to provide a high-energy experience guaranteed to bring the beat out of you! He’ll have you dancing and jumping around just as he is on stage! Everything is all from the mouth, just as his influences Rahzell, Skiller and Reeps One!
