Zachary (Mr Don Fochi) was always surrounded by amazing music growing up, constantly provided by his parents as soon as he could dance in his mother’s belly. Jon Lennon and Bob Marley provided the soundtrack for his upbringing in the special town of Glastonbury, Ct. His first real search for the music started in 1999, when he began regularly attending local concerts with friends. Soon Incubus became the first band to really catch his ear and provide his regular daily soundtrack on his bus-rides to school and his go to while snowboarding down various mountains on the east coast. Soon he moved more towards the jam band scene where his ears were filled with funk, bass and soul. There his love grew, fueled mainly by the many incredible experiences he had seeing the Disco Biscuits with all his close friends. Soon there were more bands to influence him such as Lotus, Umphrey’s Mcgee, Galactic, Sound Tribe and many more. This all just led to more and more music, even soon the DrumnBass caught his attention, as well as the early underground dubstep movement. In 2008 he moved to Somerville, MA where he became good friends with Lee Brandenburg. Together they began producing and playing their own dubstep/house tracks at private parties and venues all around Boston. Over time their production and mind-set soon progressed out of the wobble and they channeled their sound towards the direction of underground house and techno. Currently Zak resides as a resident DJ in Cambridge at the long running RESET parties held at the Phoenix Landing. He also known as the curator for many special music events thrown around the city, mainly under his company, Fresh Headz. In 2015 Zak teamed up with long time friend Adrian Sackheim to start Cenote Records. So far they have had several amazing releases featuring a lot of incredible Boston talent as well as artists from all over the globe. 2016 is looking like a big year for the label with many more amazing releases to come as well as some big events!

Charles Mazzola got his start in New York, studying audio engineering while DJing on the side and organizing parties in Brooklyn’s rapidly expanding warehouse scene. He later migrated to Boston, where he continued to built a reputation with gigs at local parties. His versatile DJ talents, spanning techno, house and disco earned him quick notoriety.

Mazzola has worked with Mmmmaven and Boston’s Together Festival in the past, both booking and performing at major events across the city alongside huge international talent. He’s currently a producer for Mmmmaven’s weekly #MakeItNew DJ nights at Cambridge’s Middlesex Lounge and occupies a resident DJ spot at Phoenix Landing’s weekly Re:Set Wednesday parties. As a DJ, Mazzola has shared the stage with names including LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, Soul Clap, Lee Foss, James Holden, Sian, Falty DL, KON, Maxxi Soundsystem, Dusky, Konrad Black, Fred Falke, Juilo Bashmore and more.
