RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTS TAKES OVER NEW YEARS WEEKEND WITH THEIR UNBINDED “PANTS OPTIONAL” AFFAIR!

RISKY BUSINESS WAS BORN ON THE PREMISE OF BRIDGING THE UNDERGROUND SCENE WITH JOYFUL, POSITIVE VIBES. WE CHOOSE TO BE PANTLESS AS AN EXAMPLE OF PURE LIBERATION AND UNITY WITH CUTTING LOOSE AND HAVING A GOOD TIME. FROM RESIDENCIES IN NEW YORK’S PREMIERE CLUBS, TO INDUSTRIAL VENUES AND BRANDED STAGES ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS, RISKY BUSINESS HAS BECOME AN IMPORTANT MOVEMENT AND A FORCE TO BE RECKONED IN DANCE MUSIC.

BUTTS OF ALL SHAPES AND SIZES ARE AMAZING. WE WANT YOU TO FEEL FREE IN YOUR UNDERWEAR….OR AT LEAST YOUR TIGHTS. WE KNOW YOU MAY BE FEELING YOU MIGHT WANT TO KEEP YOUR PANTS ON AND THAT’S COOL TOO. BUTT….IF YOU TRY IT YOU JUST MIGHT LIKE IT.

::::::: CONSENT is **** :::::::
Although tempting, do NOT grab, touch or spank butts without asking the owner of the butt first and getting their enthusiastic YES! Its called consent and we’re really into it at our events. Behave in the land of the behinds or we will promptly escort you to the street, probably without your pants

::::::: Community & Accessibility :::::::
This is a space for everyone to feel welcome and loved. Racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia will not be tolerated.

JOHNNY TRIKA

During Dubfire’s Norh American tour in the fall of 2013 the two connected, initially agreeing to include the track ‘Rum Shake’ on a VA compilation. This later blossomed into a 3 track EP, ‘Main Squeeze’, released in October 2014. Johnny Trika has released three strong EPs on Dubfire’s Sci+Tec Digital Audio label in total, each more special than the last. Johnny Trika released his EP ‘Punk Fools’ in June 2015 – the title track generated quite the buzz before its release, leading to an original music video premiered by Vice’s THUMP. Most recently, Johnny Trika’s latest SCI+TEC EP released in July 2015 remained #1 on the Minimal Beatport charts for a week, while remaining on the Top 100 Minimal Releases over a month prior to its release.

Johnny Trika is also featured on Matt Sassari’s ‘Panterre’ label, contributing with a remix for Matt’s own ‘Don Freeze Up’. Johnny fools around with the synthetic sounds and vocals to create something which resonates more with his own sound.

Johnny Trika has performed across Canada and Europe, setting his sights on South America and the US for fall 2016. He is most noted for his display of true showmanship, with his elaborate live sets stacked only with original material – both released hits and unreleased gems. Johnny Trika constantly strives to keep his performances as new, stimulating, and strange as possible. His mission is to push the development of minimal techno to more contemporary plains, while intertwining his own artistic flavour into the music, making his own take on music a true expression of himself.

Johnny Trika’s empathic and immersive nature bleeds into his live performances, often choosing to experiment with track arrangements live to produce sets that cannot be duplicated again, all the while delivering the well- established ‘Johnny Trika’ sound to the dance floor.
