ELECRIC FOREST

Despite the increase in the number of festivals that cater the attendees seeking an experience that includes more than just music, Electric Forest continues to be one of the most sought-after weekends. Tickets for this year’s festival sold out shortly after going on sale, but that hasn’t stopped thousands of fans set on experiencing Sherwood Forest in 2016.

RIDE WITH MASS EDMC: TAKE A BUS TO FOREST

This year, the organizers behind Electric Forest opted to announce the phase 1 lineup via their fans. Instead of releasing every name at once, selected fans received a letter from the festival with a handful of names of it. After opening the package, each recipient then posted the names they had received on social media.
The range of talent included in the Electric Forest lineup will ensure that attendees will have a sonically varied experience. The initial lineup announcement included a number of names fans were pleased to see. Bassnectar, as part of what seems to be a personal attempt to perform at every festival in 2016, will be returning again this year. Adventure Club, Baauer, Flosstradamus, 12th Planet, Caspa B2B Rusko, Keys n Krates, Low Steppa, GRiZManic Focus, Paper Diamond, and The Floozies are just some of the many bass acts attendees can witness. House and techno heads can flock to see Gorgon City, AC Slater, DuskyJosh Wink, Justin Martin, Lane 8, Le Youth, Louis The Child, Rufus Du Sol, Motez, Soul Clap, and many more. Other notable inclusions include The Polish Ambassador, Ott, STS9, Beats Antique, and Porter Robinson.

Electric Shepherdess was born out of my frustration with nightlife options and a constant desire to dance. After a few years of adoration from afar, I partnered with my long-time friends, MASS EDMC, to spread our message far and wide. When I'm not tending to my flock, I'm writing, dancing, editing, managing, reading or curating. I believe in fancy hats and enjoy glitter, disco and lazers, often for days.
