It’s official – Madison House and Insomniac’s incredible camping festival Electric Forest returns to Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI from June 26th to 29th in 2014! EF is one of the most mystical festivals in the US, and its fourth year is guaranteed to be amazing. Though there are only rumors as to who might be playing in 2014, Electric Forest is worth attending regardless of who may be playing – it is the experience that is worth going for; the music is the icing on the cake.
This year, Electric Forest is offering previous attendees the exclusive opportunity to buy a single ticket on Monday, January 6th at 12pm EST. Weekend GA tickets start at $199, while Good Life Village VIP tickets start at $499.Eligible fans will receive a code via email on January 5th allowing them to purchase one GA or one VIP ticket at the loyalty price, available for 24 hours or while supplies last.
Electric Forest also announced their ‘Three in the Forest’ loyalty tickets for attendees who have gone for all of the past three years. They will be able to buy two GA or VIP tickets within the 24 hour loyalty presale, and are guaranteed for all those who qualify.
Tickets for all other fans will go on sale on Wednesday, January 7th at 12pm EST. Weekend GA tickets will start at $219, and a number of Good Life Village VIP tickets will also be available. Available again this year for all ticket hopefuls will be the payment plan. Tickets can be purchased by putting 10% down, and paying the rest in four installments. Any questions you have about ticket purchases can be addressed here.
If you’ll be heading to the Forest from the East Coast but don’t want to deal with flying or driving, MASS EDMC will be offering round trip buses from multiple cities; information about departure cities, costs and on-sale dates will be available in the next few weeks.

Electric Shepherdess was born out of my frustration with nightlife options and a constant desire to dance. After a few years of adoration from afar, I partnered with my long-time friends, MASS EDMC, to spread our message far and wide. When I'm not tending to my flock, I'm writing, dancing, editing, managing, reading or curating. I believe in fancy hats and enjoy glitter, disco and lazers, often for days.
