Dreamscape Festival Brings Ruckus Back to Camp Ramblewood in May
May 6th, 2016MASS EDMC STAFF
Dreamscape returns to Darlington, MD next month for the ultimate early season festival experience. The lush confines of Camp Ramblewood feature pool and lakeside attractions to boost the traditional camping environment. Attendees can also look forward to nightly bonfires, stimulating decorations from Rania Peet and NephilNine, and a slew of other activities over the weekend.
Glitchhopper Chill Harris, trapstar Caked Up and g-house legend Destructo are set to headline the most immersive Dreamscape yet. This year’s lineup has been expanded to include a variety of dubstep producers, including heavy-hitters AFK, Trollphace and Barely Alive, as well as hypnotic experimentation from Jantsen & Dirt Monkey and Levitation Jones. To further spoil fans of bass music, a special versus set between Ableton mastermind ill.Gates and drummer KJ Sawka of Destroid is planned for the opening night.
Tickets for Dreamscape are surprisingly affordable considering all that the festival offers. A GA two-day pass starts at $115, while early entry passes are available for $125; Saturday-only passes are available for $65. Though VIP tickets have sold out, cabin rentals for up to 13 people are also available in limited quantity.
Dreamscape is a participant-driven festival with plenty of opportunity for creativity and expression. Patrons are encouraged to apply for hosting workshops, seminars or other activities, leaving an open door for inspiring collaboration. Relaxed atmosphere combined with top-tier talent sets Dreamscape apart, with a great reputation for communal respect often lost on crowds of bigger events. The festival’s most ambitious year yet cannot be missed.
