Candyland Tour
Following the departure of member Ethan Davis, Santa Barbara-based electro house/dubstep duo Candyland had a relatively quiet 2015. As the New Year approaches, remaining member Josie Martinez has announced a US headlining tour beginning in January. Candyland’s latest single “Speechless”, the first release since Davis’ departure, recently made the one million stream milestone on Spotify.

Big room duo Fight Clvb will be supporting Candyland on tour. The duo has been building a steady buzz of their own this year and recently signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. Their most recent release is a compilation of tracks titled “Originals.” The release includes their first single on Dim Mak, “Maga”, a collaboration with 4B.

Steve's obsession with music began when he was 16; he saw his then-favorite band, Metallica, play the TD Garden in Boston. His musical tastes have broadened since then, but he is still chasing that feeling of excitement & unity he felt at his first show. His introduction to the dance music came when friends brought him to a Bassnectar show, and he hasn't looked back since. When Steve heard MASS EDMC were looking for writers, he jumped at the chance to get more involved. Writing for MASS EDMC has given Steve a rare opportunity to combine two of his passions: writing & live music.
