Alison Wonderland Runs Down The Rabbit Hole This February

December 17th, 2015

by

Alison Wonderland

Famous for both her stellar productions and her unparalleled enthusiasm for partying, Australian superstar Alison Wonderland is coming back to the states this February. Paying homage to her 2014 album of the same name, the Run Tour will bring the same swagger that Alison Wonderland has exhibited every time she steps on stage. She’s solidified her position among her peers as a visionary, and foresaw the warehouse craze coming in advance, launching her Warehouse series last year. With that much foresight, who knows what she’ll whip out on her first headlining North American tour.

Wonderland’s debut album, Run, will inevitably go down as one of the most impressive trap albums of the year. It spans the entirety of the genre and is the most accurate snapshot of the subgenre, yet never strays from the hip-hop structure from whence trap came. Featuring both big-roomy festival bangers and downtempo gems, the album is entirely worthy of a supporting tour. By the way – she sings on her own tracks (as if she didn’t do it all already). Have a listen to a personal favorite – “Take It To Reality.”

While new tours are announced every week, some quicken the heartbeat more than others. Alison Wonderland’s Run Tour stands out as one of the most exciting announcements for 2016 yet. A talented DJ with a classical cello background and an infectious live presence that bleeds through the speakers – what more could you ask for? Definitely mark your calendars for your nearest tour date.
